President Clinton’s Inaugural Health Event Draws Big Names To Valley
We now know some of the big names who will be in the valley for President Bill Clinton’s inaugural Health Matters: Activating Wellness in Every Generation conference.
On Thursday, President Clinton announced the programs and featured attendees, which include Chelsea Clinton, Goldie Hawn, Dr. Deepak Chopra, and Jillian Michaels. Health Matters precedes the Humana Challenge PGA Tour event in partnership with the William J. Clinton Foundation, formerly the Bob Hope Classic.
Health Matters will bring together more than 200 stakeholders from the world’s health care, public policy, business education, individual wellness, and sports to identify to promote and improve individual healthy lifestyles in the home, the community, and the workplace.
The conference will be held on Tuesday, January 17, at the Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells. Health Matters highlights the tournament’s commitment to health and well-being, and builds on the work of the Clinton Foundation, which has a mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, protect the environment, and promote healthier childhoods through its Alliance for a Healthier Generation. The Convening Partner of the conference is the Desert Regional Medical Center.
