WHITE HOUSE-KIDS’ STATE DINNER

I’m so honored and excited to attending the first-ever Kids’ State Dinner at The White House in Washington, D.C., this Monday, August 20th, 2012!

The privilege of receiving an invitation to join in this incredible celebration as a special guest of First Lady Michelle Obama has been a thrill for which I am super grateful, and am (very eagerly) counting down to meet amazing kids and their families from across the country as we cheer on some brilliant healthy lunch ideas that they’ve cooked up as part of Epicurious’s innovative Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.

Plus, I’ll have a really kewl announcement to share! In addition to having recently joined forces with the First Lady’s inspiring Let’s Move! national initiative, I can’t wait to reveal an awesome new partnership tomorrow on the red carpet at The White House!
